The Elks Lodge reeks of sweat. You can feel the brisk cold air as the crowd cheers around the ring, set up in a garage. This is the Upstate Pro Wrestling Valentine’s Day Massacre Tournament. Upstate Pro Wrestling is Rochester’s premier underground wrestling league. The league brings in a wide swath of characters, but they all attend for the same reason, to do what they love. These images were made with an on-location portrait booth during the tournament.
